The Buena Vista women's soccer team played scrappy defense yet again, but just couldn't get a shot through, as the Beavers were edged by a tough Loras team (8-3-1, 4-0-1 IIAC) on Saturday afternoon, 3-0.

The Duhawks got the scoring going with a goal in the 13' and that's how things stood until they added goals in the 80' and 86', respectively.

Samantha Arnold had both shots-on-goal for the Beavers (3-10-1, 0-5 IIAC).

Loras held a 34-4 margin in shots-on-goal, including a 20-4 edge in shots-on-goal.

Buena Vista will now close out its home schedule on Wednesday afternoon with a 4:00pm conference match against Central College.
