The Buena Vista women's tennis team was back on the courts Wednesday to host Wartburg College, but the Knights edged BVU in both doubles matches en route to a 9-0 victory.

The Beavers came up just short at number one doubles, where Tarynne Kinghorn and Rica Mizerno fell 8-6, and again at number two where Emma Hartz and Madison Gierstorf fell, 8-5.

Wartburg won in straight sets in all five singles matches, but Mizerno against played tough despite falling 6-4, 7-6.  She proved to be the lone Beaver to score more than one point in any set.

Buena Vista is now 0-4 overall (0-4 IIAC) while the Knights improve to 2-3 overall (1-1 IIAC).  The Beavers will continue their schedule on Friday afternoon when they travel to Grand View University for a 4:00pm match.
