The Kohawks (9-8, 3-3 IIAC) took an early lead with the first of two goals on the night by Sarah Fatallah just nearly nine minutes into the match.  She then made it 2-0 five minutes later, and the Kohawks held that two-goal margin at the half.

Danica Mason extended the lead for Coe to 3-0 10 minutes into the second half, as the Beavers were held to just one shot attempt over the final 45 minutes.

The Kohawks held a 12-6 edge in total shots for the match, including an 8-3 margin in shots-on-goal.

Rachel Novotny went the distance in-goal and allowed all three goals, while also turning in five saves.

Buena Vista is now 3-11-3 (0-5-1 IIAC) and will wrap up its season on Tuesday night, October 28, at Wartburg College beginning at 5:00pm.
