Simpson College led just 2-0 at the half, but it was the Storm, which out-shot the Beavers, 22-5, in the match adding four more goals over the final 45 minutes en route to the 6-0 Iowa Conference victory.

Tyler Lafferty chalked up three shots for BVU, including its lone shot-on-goal which came in the second half.

Marcus Varnum scored the first two goals of the second half for Simpson to help lead the Storm.

Buena Vista dips to 3-8 overall (0-3 IIAC) and will step out of confernece play on Tuesday night for a 7:00pm road match at Bethany Lutheran.
