Ernesto Garcia enters his first season serving as an assistant for head coach Jeff Breese and the Beaver wrestling program.

Garcia wrestled for BVU the past four seasons (125lbs), earning Scholar All-American honors as a senior in 2016-17 while also serving as a team captain.  He finished the season with 17 wins and chalked up over 40 in his career.

In addition to his time spent on the mat, Garcia was a four-year Dean's List recipient and was also active around campus and volunteered with several campus and Storm Lake community events/activities.

A native of Fernley, Nev., Garcia received his degree in exercise science and holds a minor in coaching.
