Biography

About Carlos: Is the son of Carlos Barreda and Roberta Barreda...Has four brothers, Jose, Luis, Mateo, and Elias.

High School Highlights: Was a four-tiime letterwinner for Coach Jerry Clinch and the Thunderbolts and was an all-state performer.

Aside from athletics, he was also a two-time Academic All-State selection.

College Highlights:
2013-14: He again wrestled all of his 14 matches on the year at 133 pounds and provided depth to the team at the lower weights.  He picked up a win during the BVU Open.

2012-13: He did not wrestle a varsity match for BVU as a junior.

2011-12: Picked up his first collegiate win as a sophomore at the Simpson Invite and picked up his first collegiate pin during the BVU Open, while also wrestling the year at 133.

2010-11: Made his collegiate debut as a freshman when he took part in the Brute-Adidas Open. Finished the season with 10 matches – all at 133 pounds.
