About Shelby: Is the daughter of Wayne and Darla...has two sisters, Ashley and Dani.
High School Highlights: Was a four-year varsity letterwinner in volleyball, basketball and softball for the Bluejays. In volleyball, she was an all-conference selection in each of her final three years, was Second Team All-State as a junior and was a team captain her senior year. In basketball, she was all-conference each season, including Second Team accolades as a freshman.
Aside from athletics, she was an academic all-conference selection in both volleyball and basketball and was a member of the National Honor Society.
College Highlights:
2013: In her first season with the Beavers, she started all 29 matches and ranked third on the team with 290 kills and kills/set (2.64). She led the way in hitting percentage (.285) and in ace serves (37). Among all IIAC players, she ranked fifth in hitting percentage and was ninth in kills.
2012: She finished with 288 kills and an overall hitting percentage of .266 in her second season at Bethany Lutheran. Defensively, she chimed in with 61 total blocks. Those totals propeled her to a First Team All-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference selection following the season.

She also spent both years playing basketball for the Vikings and averaged 13.5ppg as a sophomore, while being tabbed a Second Team All-Conference selection and named to the All-Defensive Team.
