About Jena: Is the daughter of Dennis and Sherree...her dad was an All-American in football at Northwestern College (IA)...has two sisters, Deni and Shelby...her sister Deni currently plays volleyball for the Beavers.

High School Highlights: Was a four-year letterwinner for the Wolves, earning First Team All-Conference and All-District as a senior. In addition, she earned three letters in basketball and five more in softball.

College Highlights:
2012: She transfered to BVU prior to this season.  For the year, she appeared in all 32 of the team''s matches, ranking third on the team in kills (288), while finishing with a team-best hitting percentage of .219.  Defensively, she was second on the team in total blocks (70), and her 0.69 blocks/set average ranked seventh among all IIAC players.  Turned in a season-best nine kills in a match against Monmouth College before matching that total a day later against Lincoln Christian.  Had a season-best five blocks against the College of St. Mary.
