About Courtney: Is the daughter of Brian and Barb...Her dad is also the head men''s basketball coach for BVU.
High School Highlights: Was a four-time letterwinner in volleyball for the Cyclones. She was a four-year All-Northwest Conference selection, including a First Team performer her final three seasons. She was tabbed an Honorable Mention All-State selection as a junior and Third Team performer as a senior. She graduated as the program''s all-time assists leader. In addition volleyball, Courtney is also a four-time letterwinner in both basketball and golf. On the court, she was a Second Team all-conference selection as a junior and Honorable Mention selection as a senior. On the course, she was a First Team All-Conference selection as a junior and senior and was also a state qualifier as a senior. Aside from athletics, she was listed on the "A" Honor Roll all four years and graduated as her class valedictorian.
College Highlights:
2012: Was again the team''s starting setter and led the way with 711 assists. She also ranked third on the team in ace serves with 28 and was fifth in digs with 148. She failed to reach double figures in assists just once on the year and had 19 matches of at least 20. Came within two of her career-high in assists after dishing out 52 against Concordia-Wisconsin in the second-to-last match of the year. Following the year, she was named to the Academic All-IIAC Team in her first year of eligibility.
2011: Was the team''s starting setter as a freshman and dished out the program''s fifth-highest single-season assist total with 1,193. That total also ranked her second in the league. She had six matches of at least 50 assists, including 54 against both Bethany Lutheran and Carleton College over a span of four matches. In addition, she also posted a team-leading 32 ace serves, including four against Central College in the third-to-last match of the year, to go along with 253 digs.
Aside from playing, she has also spent time in the off-season coaching AAU volleyball.
