Janet Berry is beginning her third season serving as Director of Volleyball Operations for the Buena Vista volleyball program in the fall of 2024.
In her first season back with the program in 2022, the Beavers finished third in the regular season conference standings before advancing into the American Rivers Conference Tournament match.
Berry is no stranger to BVU, having served 26 years as its head women's basketball coach (1992-2018) and won 393 career games and five conference championships. Upon her retirement from the sidelines, she transitioned into becoming the BVU women's golf coach in the spring of 2018 where she spent three seasons. She would go on to lead the program to a fifth-place American Rivers Conference Championship finish that season, marking its highest finish in 10 seasons.
Berry lives in Storm Lake with her husband, Steve. They have two grown children, Blake and Brock.
