Biography
About Vanessa: Daughter of Jennifer and Mark Hamlett. She also has two brothers, Henry and Louis and three sisters Sally, Cynthia, and Natalie.Â
High School Highlights: Volleyball - 3 time Team State Qualifier & 2018 E. Wayne Cooley "You Can Award Recipient. Basketball - 2018 2nd Team All-Conference Basketball-Upper Iowa, 2019 2nd Team All-Conference Basketball-Tri-Rivers, All-Conference Senior Basketball Team, & 1A Senior All-Star Basketball Team. Track and Field - 3 time State Qualifier in Shot Put, 2 time State 1A Shot Put Runner Up, Runner up at the Senior All-Star meet for Shot Put, 1st Team All-State 2018 & 2019, 1st Team All-Conference Track and Field 2018, and 2nd Team All-Conference Track and Field 2019. She was also a Honor Roll 4 years of High School, Valedictorian, 2019 IBCA Girls Academic All-State Team, Academic All-State Basketball, Academic All-State Volleyball, and Academic All-State Track and Field.
College Highlights
2019-2020: Vanessa's freshman year she appeared in 24 games, got her first start, and scored 80 points.
2020-21: Started in eight games and averaged 8.2 points a game.
2021-22:Â Started in 17 games while scoring a total of 189 points. She had her career high points where she scored 20 against Nebraska Wesleyan.
