ABOUT THE COACH

Coach Bethany Martin is in her second year of coaching track & field. Coach Martin knew she wanted to become a coach during her senior year of college. She could not imagine herself doing anything else that would provide the same fulfillment as helping student-athletes navigate academics, athletics, and life. She desires to be a great coach like the coaches she had throughout her athletic career. Her hope is that the student-athletes she coaches will learn how to successfully manage academics, athletics, and life during their college experience. She wants to not only guide her student-athletes to have fun and be successful while competing in track & field, but also show them how to best manage their busy schedules so that they can lead a successful, healthy life after their college years.

Coach Martin believes someone who is hard working, selfless, and is not afraid to lead can become a great athlete. Someone who also knows when they need to prioritize their well-being and athletic mindset so that they can be the best not only for themselves but also for their teammates.
