WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE BVU?
I was born in Storm Lake, and I also chose BVU in spirit of my mom. My mom loved it here in Storm Lake and I feel connected to her still. BVU also gave me the opportunity to continue to do the sport I love and helped me financially and understood my situation and took that into a lot of consideration and for that I am really grateful!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR SPORT?
What I like most about my sport is how much it challenges me physically and mentally. I love having a challenge and seeing how I can go about it. Running and competing releases a lot of stress off my shoulders and being able to say I can race almost any distance sounds cool!
RETURNING STUDENTS, WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE ATHLETICS MOMENT?
My most memorable moment was my freshmen year at conference running the 1500. I had a tough year with injuries. I ended the year having around a 20 second PR in the 1500 and I remember how everyone was screaming for me and cheering me on. Right there, I knew I had the most supportive teammates.
