Biography
About Tara: Is the daughter of Tom and DeAnn Lehner.
High School Highlights: She was a three-year letterwinner for the Bulldogs and served as a team captain as a senior. She was also an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection as both a junior and senior.
In addition to basketball, she earned four letters in track and field and two more in volleyball. On the track, she was a two-time state qualifier.
Aside from athletics, she was listed on the Honor Roll each semester and was an Academic All-Conference selection in volleyball as a senior.
College Highlights: Saw most of her playing time on the junior varsity as a freshman in 2009-10. She did come off the bench in three varsity games, making her collegiate debut against Cornell College on January 21, going 1-of-1 from the field and grabbing one rebound in three minutes. As a sophomore in 2010-11, Tara came off the bench and averaged 16.5 minutes per contest en route to earning her first career varsity letter. One of her best games of the year came against Knox College on January 2 when she scored six points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists in 21 minutes. Last season, she lettered again and ranked third on the team in rebounding and fifth in steals. She hauled in a career-high 10 rebounds, including eight offensive, during the team''s home win against Wartburg on December 7.
