High School Highlights: Was a four-time letterwinner in basketball for the Rams. She had a stand-out season as a senior, earning First Team All-Conference accolades, while also being named to the IGCA All-District Team and a Third Team All-State selection by the Iowa Newspaper Association. She was also an IBCA and IGCA Academic-All State performer. In addition to basketball, she also lettered four times in track and was a four-year state qualifier. As a junior, she was a state runner-up in the 400 meter hurdles. As a senior, she was named an IATC Academic All-State performer. She also lettered three years in volleyball. Aside from athletics, she was an All-Hawkeye 10 All-Academic selection, a member of her High School National Honor Society, earned Distinguished Scholars and was named "Outstanding Senior."
College Highlights:
2015-16:She started all 26 games she appeared in this season. In those 26 games she averaged 27.7 minutes (most on the team) and 12.7 points (second on the team) per game. Her 65 made threes was second on the team and 133 rebounds was also second. At Central on Feb. 10th she played 32 minutes shooting 13-22 and scored a season high 36 points. She was named 2nd team all conference and was a Jostens Trophy Finalist.
2014-15: Lexi started all 25 games and was the team''s leading scorer at 12.5ppg. She had six 20-point performances, including a season-high 25 against Presentation College during the BVU Invite. In that contest she also made a season-best seven three-point buckets. Overall, she had five games of at least five made three-point attempts. Her 61 makes were the third-most for a single-season in program history and also moved her into third on the program''s all-time list. Defensively, she lead the team in steals (53). Both her three-point makes and steals totals ranked third among all IIAC players in all games for the year. Following the season, she was voted as a Second Team All-IIAC selection.
2013-14: She started all 27 games for the Beavers as a sophomore and was third on the team in scoring (13.8ppg). She was also fourth in both rebounds (4.0) and assists (2.6). She was also sixth in the IIAC in scoring and tied for seventh in three-point makes per game (2.0). She turned in a career-high 26 points against Whittier on November 23 - one of her three 20-point games on the year (Simpson and Dubuque). In the game against Simpson, she buried a career-high six three-point shots to finish with 20 points. She also had a pair of games with a career-best four steals. Following the year, she earned a spot on the Academic All-IIAC Team and was also voted to the CoSIDA Capital One All-District Team.
2012-13: She played in all 25 games as a freshman, including 19 starts. She ranked third on the team, averaging 9.9 points and was one of the team''s leaders in three-point baskets with 36. After coming off the bench for the first six games, she got her first career start against Crown College on December 1 and scored 16 points, on 8-of-11 shooting, while playing just 17 minutes. She scored in double-figures in 13 games, including a career-high 20 points off the bench, including a career-best four three-point buckets, against Northland on November 23.
