Mary Barnes begins her first season as an assistant women's basketball coach for the Beavers in 2021-22.

Barnes, a former member of the BVU women's basketball team, rejoins the program in a coaching role. She graduated in May of 2021 with an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing and is currently working on her master's degree from the university in Organizational Leadership.

Outside of her involvement playing and now coaching for the Beavers, Barnes is also involved in rodeo operations.

She currently resides in Peterson, Iowa.
