Jasmine Demers began as the administrative assistant within the athletics office in the fall of 2019.

Prior to moving to the athletic department, Demers had spent two years working in the BVU admissions office along with serving as an assistant coach with the women's basketball program. 

Demers was a two-time all-conference performer on the hardwood for the Beavers (2014-18), including a First Team selection as a senior in 2017-18. That year, she ranked fourth overall in the league in both scoring (16.6ppg) and rebounding (7.4rpg).  She scored just shy of 1,000 points in her career and started 50 of the final 52 games in which she played.  She made a career-high 35 three-point shots as a senior, while also setting career-highs in assists (73) and rebounds (185). 

Demers went on to graduate from Buena Vista in the spring of 2018 with a degree in Elementary Education.  She currently resides in Storm Lake.
