Biography
About Becca: Is the daughter of Kraig and Wanda Pennington. Her mom played softball at Crowder College.
College Highlights:
2015-16: She started all 27 of the teams games this season. Her 27.4 minutes were second on the team and 11.1 points per game were third while her 94 assists ranked second on the team. Against St. Thomas opening the year she set the tone with 20 points, 7 assists, and 3 rebounds.
2014-15: Becca returned from injury to start 21 of the 25 games in which she appeared. For the year, her 9.1ppg ranked fourth on the team while she led the way with 71 assists. Her 2.84 assists/game also ranked sixth-best among all IIAC players. Her 16 points against Loras on February 4 matched a career-high set last season. Her six assists in consecutive games against Presentation and Macalester also were career-highs. Following the year, she was tabbed by her teammates as the ''Defensive Player of the Year''.
2013-14: She missed the majority of the season due to injury, appearing in just five games, including four starts. She did, however, set a new career-high with 16 points in 31 minutes against St. Mary''s (Ind.) on November 22.
2012-13: She appeared in 25 games as a sophomore, including eight starts, while ranking fourth on the team, averaging 8.5ppg, and sitting third in assists/game (2.4). Her first career start came in the season opener at nationally-ranked Washington (Mo.) University where she scored seven points and grabbed four rebounds. She followed that up a day later with a career-best 14 points, including four three-pointers against Lake Forest. She also connected on four three-point baskets later in the year at Dubuque, while matching her career-high of 14 points, to go along with six rebounds. She hauled in a career-high eight boards during a win against Bethany Lutheran on November 28.
2011-12: Becca appeared in 21 games and averaged nearly 10 minutes per game off the bench for the Beavers as a freshman, earning her a varsity letter. She went 4-of-5 from the free-throw line and finished with a season-high eight points in 16 minutes during a win against Crown College on December 3. She chimed in with a season-best five rebounds in 12 minutes against Luther College.
Aside from playing basketball, she has also volunteered on campus during Buenafication Day activities.
