Michaela (Mason) Paper is set to begin her third season as an assistant coach within the BVU softball program.
During her first year in 2022, she was part of the program's first regular season conference championship since 1996 as well as a berth into the NCAA Regional Tournament. Over her firsr two campaigns, Paper, has helped coach a total of six All-Conference players.
Paper was a standout player for the Beavers during her collegiate career, playing in over 150 games from 2017-2021 and served primarily as the team's starting center fielder. She ranks third all-time in program history with 153 games played and second with 152 starts. She finished her career with 165 hits (5th), 34 doubles (t-4th), 16 home runs (3rd) and 257 total bases (4th). She is the program's all-time career leader in stolen bases with 71 - nearly 30 more than second place.
Michaela, and her husband Noah (a BVU baseball alum), reside in Alta.
