Juliana 'Junior' Hall joined the Buena Vista University softball coaching staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2024.
Hall is a recent 2024 graduate of Lakeland University (Wis.) and was a five-year member of the Muskies softball team while playing for current BVU head coach Tammy Utley.
Despite missing most of the 2023 season due to an injury, Hall bounced back and capped her playing career by starting all 45 games she appeared in during the 2024 season and hit a career-best .388, posting career-highs in hits (57), runs (30) and doubles (13).
An infielder throughout her career, Hall started 126 of the 128 games in which she played. She finished with a career. 340 batting average, 141 hits (42 for extra-bases), 90 RBI and 78 runs scored.
A native of Portage, Ind., Hall graduated from Lakeland with a degree in sports management and leadership and was a five-time recipient of the NACC Scholar Athlete Award.
During her prep career at Portage High School, Hall was a three-time letterwinner and was named Team MVP twice. She was also named an All-Duneland Athletic Conference selection.
