About Garrett: Is the son of Pattie Woodson...has four brothers, Andre, Michael, Seth and D''Andre, as well as three sisters, Alicia, Vanesa, and Selena...his brother Seth is also currently a member of BVU track and field team.
High School Highlights: Was a three-time letterwinner in track and field for the Knights. For his career, he was a three-time state qualifier in the 800 meter run, placing 7th overall as a senior. He also qualified as a senior in the 4x800 meter run, and the team placed sixth.
In addition to track and field, he earned three letters in basketball and four more in football. On the gridiron, he was a two-time all-conference player, earning First Team accolades as a senior. He was also tabbed as a Second Team All-State Utility Athlete by Iowa Preps. On the court, he was a Second Team All-Conference performer as a junior and an Honorable Mention selection his senior season.
College Highlights: He transfered to BVU prior to the start of his junior year.
