About the Coach

Coach Jessi Juarez is in her 16th year of coaching track & field. Her passion is to show young athletes how track & field can equip them to face adversity promptly. This passion drove her to a career in coaching. She wants to see student-athletes be exposed to nontraditional training methods and become equipped to live a healthy lifestyle long past their collegiate track & field days. Her hope is that every student-athlete becomes proficient in the weight room, understands functional fitness, and develops the capacity to overcome all of life’s challenges. Amid all these things, she wants them to discover lifelong friendships and connections.
 
Juarez believes a student-athlete who fully trusts their coach, is disciplined in training, and fierce in competition can become great.
