High School Highlights: Was a four-yearletterwinner in soccer for the Chargers and was part of a team thatplace third in the state his junior season. As a senior, he earnedthe team''s Ironman Award. In addition to soccer, he also letteredtwo years in volleyball and was voted as his team''s MVP as asenior. In addition to athletics, Tyler was listed on his highschool''s Honor Roll.
College Highlights:
2013: He played in and started 17 matches on the year andtied for second on the team in goals (4) while tying for the leadin assists (4). His 12 points on the year were alsosecond on the team, as were his 17 shots-on-goal. He scoredpoints in each of the team''s first two games and five of its firstsix. He scored a goal and dished out an assist during BVU''s6-0 shutout at Rockford. He turned in his final goal of theyear on a penalty kick in the season finale (3-1 win) at Coe. Following the year, he was tabbed by his teammates as the ''Teammateof the Year'' and also received the ''Iron Man'' award.
2012: Led the team with seven goals on the year, while rankingsecond with four assists. Three of his goals came during theteam''s 7-0 triumph over Presentation College. He dished outtwo assists against both Hamline and Faith Baptist.
2011: As a sophomore, Tyler tied for second on the teamwith a career-best three goals. Turned in a solid performanceagainst Finlandia early in the year with a goal and an assistduring a 3-2 BVU victory.
2010: In his first season as a Beaver, Tyler played inall 17 games for the Beavers, including 13 starts. The first of histhree assists on the year came in just his second career gamebefore recording his first career goal during BVU''s 3-2 win overCrown College. His 33 shots on the year ranked third on theteam.
