About Seth: Is the son of Tim and Valinda...hasone brother, Levi Balmer, and one sister, RaShae.
High School Highlights: Was a four-time letterwinner for the Monarchs where he was an Honorable MentionAll-Hawkeye 10 selection as both a sophomore and junior. He wasthen tabbed a Second Team selection as a senior, while also beingnamed the Monarchs'' Top Defender.
In addition to soccer, he was also a four-time letter winner infootball, while earning one in cross country.
Aside from athletics, he was listed on both the "A" and "B"Honor Rolls, and received All-Conference Academic Honorable Mentionaccolades.
College Highlights:
2013: Played in 12 matches for the Beavers, primarily in areserve role. He did make two starts and added depth to theteam defensively, helping it to post three shutouts. Hetallied his only point of the year when he dished out an assistduring the team''s 5-1 over Cornell College on September 25. Following the year, he received the team''s ''BVU Program'' Award asvoted on by his peers and coaches.
2012: He appeared in all 17 of the team''s matches, earningstarts against both Luther and Gustavus Adolphus. Althoughhis focus was at the defensive end, he did turn in his only goal ofthe year during the team''s 7-0 win against Presentation College anddished out a pair of assists for the year.
2011: As a sophomore, he again was a key part of theteam''s defense which decreased its goals against total by nine from2010.
2010: As a freshman, Seth played in all 17 games,including 13 starts. He was a key defender on a team that allowedits lowest goal total since 2006. He also chipped in and logged hisfirst career assist during BVU''s 3-2 win at Crown College.
