About Juan:  Is the son of Gustavo and Josefina...has three brothers, Oscar, Marcos and Saul, as well as one sister, Liliana.

High School Highlights:  Was a four-year varsity letterwinner in soccer for the Tornadoes and served as a team captain as both a junior and senior.  He was a First Team All-Conference player as a junior and senior and was part of the 2013 Class 2A State Runner-Up team.  The Tornadoes also won a pair of Lakes Conference Championships during his career (2010 and 2012).

Aside from athletics, he was listed on the Honor Roll all four years.

College Highlights:
2014: Juan appeared in 16 matches for BVU and started 15 of those.  He ranked fourth on the team with two goals and also dished out one assist.  He registered his second career goal against at Presentation College on September 20 before registering a goal and dishing out an assist during BVU''s 6-1 win three days later at Faith Baptist Bible College.

2013: Made 16 starts for the Beavers during his freshman season.  He finished the year with two assists, including one in his collegiate debut during BVU''s 4-0 win against Martin Luther.  He scored his first collegiate goal as the Beavers blanked St. Mary''s (Minn.), 1-0, on October 13.
