About Joey: Is the son of Rod and NancyStivers. He has three sisters, Sam, Shelb, Syd. Sam played soccerat UNI for a year.

High School Highlights: Joey lettered in soccerall four years of high school. He was All-conference in soccer from09-11. He was also soccer captain in 2011.

College Highlights:
2013: Played in 15 matches for the Beavers and made 10starts.  He tied for the team lead with four assists whileranking second with four goals.  He moved into third on theprogram''s all-time list in assists with 10 and is currently tiedfor seventh with 12 career goals.  He scored goals againstMartin Luther and Illinois College to begin the year before addinga two-goal and one assist performance during BVU''s 6-0 shutout atRockford on September 15.  His 2.60 shots/game ranked eighthin the Iowa Confernece for the year.

2012: Started 16 games and ranked second on the team with fivegoals, to go along with two assists.  His 12 points alsoranked second.  His first assist came in the season-openerwith his second coming just two games later.  He tallied hisfirst multi-goal game of his career against Coe College. Following the year, he earned Honorable Mention All-IIAC accoladesand was earned the team''s "Coaches Player of the Year" award.

2011: Turned in a solid freshman campaign for theBeavers, tying for second in goals scored (3), while dishing out ateam-leading four assists. Dished out his first two assists againstBethany Lutheran in just his second career contest. His firstcareer goal was also a game-winner during the team''s 1-0 triumph atNorthland College.
