  • Son of Brandon Freund and Rachael Thompson
  • Has two Brothers: Jacob and Jaxon

WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE BVU?

I chose BVU because the community, location, and opportunities all provided me a sense of home and excitement. I believe my coaches and teammates will put me in the best position to succeed athletically, as well as my professors and advisors academically.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR SPORT?

I love the freedom that I feel on the field to express myself, and I cherish being a part of a team that fights and competes for each other.

DESCRIBE YOUR AVERAGE RITUAL.

Before a game, I eat about three hours before kickoff. I follow that with static stretching and film for last impressions. I hydrate intensely throughout the day, but I slow it down about an hour and a half before the game. On the way I listen to music or do breathing exercises, whatever I feel I need.
