About Jake: Is the son of Steve and Nikki...his father wrestled collegiately at Waldorf College...has one brother, Gabe, as well as one sister, Abbey.
High School Highlights: He was a three-year varsity letterwinner in football for the Indians where he earned Honorable Mention All-District honors as both a junior and senior. In addition to football, he lettered all four years in wrestling where he was a First Team All-North Iowa Conference performer as a senior. He served as a team captain his final three years. He also lettered three times in track and field.
Aside from athletics, he was a four-tiime academic letterwinner. As a senior, he was named to the All-State Academic Team in football and to the Second Team Academic All-State in wrestling.
College Highlights:
2017: In his senior season, Jake would appear in all ten games for the Beavers and come up with two tackles per game, gaining 11 solo takedowns and 9 assisted.
2016: Jake was voted Academic All-Conference his junior year, one of five Beavers on the football team to be done so. Jake started all ten games for the Beavers, leading the team in sacks (six) and tackles for loss (eight).
2015: He would play in 3 games for the beavers where he would have 11 tackles. He also spent some time at the JV level.
2014: Appeared in six games for the Beavers and registered five total tackles. His first career tackle came against UW-Platteville when he tallied both a solo and assited stop.
