Biography

About Adam: Is the son of Charlie Cave and Marcie Cave...has one brother, Nathan, as well as one sister, Chelsea. His father played basketball at Iowa Lakes CC, while his mother was a softball player at Iowa Lakes CC.

High School Highlights: He was a three-time letterwinner for the Cyclones, as well as a two-time All-State and All-District selection. He played on the 2009 State Championship team and was a participant in the Iowa Shrine Bowl. In addition, he also lettered twice in basketball, as well as one year in both baseball and track.

College Highlights:
2014: Adam was third on the team with 55 catches for 741 yards and six touchdowns.  He had a season-best nine catches for 98 yards and a touchdown against Central on November 8.  That followed games against Dubuque and Wartburg where he turned in seven catches in each contest.  Following the year, he was a Second Team All-IIAC selection.  He also excelled in the classroom as he earned Academic All-IIAC accolades for the third straight time and was also tabbed a First Team Capital One Academic All-American.

2013: Had a break-out season for the Beavers in which he led all receivers with 51 catches.  He was second in total yards (602) and touchdowns (6).  He ranked in the top-five among all IIAC pass catchers in yards per game (60.2) and in total receptions.  He set a school single-game record with 11 catches against Wartburg, resulting in 133 yards and a pair of TD''s.  He served as one of the team''s captains for the year and following the season, he was named a First Team All-IIAC selection and also earned a spot on the Academic All-IIAC Team.

2012
: Appeared in eight games and was third on the team in total catches (18).  His three touchdowns were second on the team.  Hauled in a career-best four catches for 43 yards in the season-opener against UW-Platteville.  His first career touchdown grab came a week later at Bethel University.  Following the year, he was named to the Academic All-IIAC Team in his first year of eligibility.

2011: Started all nine games in which he appeared in during his freshman campaign. Was sixth on the team in total receptions and receiving yards. Hauled in his first career pass in the season opener against UW-Platteville. Recorded his first multi-catch game against the University of Dubuque late in the year.
