Tori Stille

Tori Stille, a Buena Vista University alum, has served as an assistant cheer and dance coach for the Beavers since 2019 and has helped coach 10 all-conference dance selections overall.

Last season, Stille helped guide the team to its most successful overall performance at the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association (ISDTA) Championships by earning Division I ratings in each performance and bringing home a trophy (given to top-3 performances) in each category.

During her first season on staff, Stille helped coach the BVU Dance Team that captured a trio of top-three finishes at the ISDTA Championships. The team earned runner-up accolades with its hip-hop routine in 2021. It was fifth overall in pom at the 2022 championships.

Soon after concluding her time as a student on campus, Tori began her coaching career as the Cheer and Dance coach for Storm Lake St. Mary’s High School and continues to do so today.  During her first three years of coaching the Panthers, they won five state championships and attended MA camp for the first time during the summer of 2019 where the team received multiple awards and recognition. In 2020, the dance team performed for the first-ever time during halftime of the boys' state basketball tournament.

A Storm Lake native and a BVU alum, Tori got her start in gymnastics at just three years old, and by age six she started competing which sparked her love for performing. Once in high school, she joined the Storm Lake Dance Squad where she was a four-year member, a three-time All-Iowa Honor Dance Team Member, and a senior captain.

Following graduation in 2011, Tori continued her dance career at Iowa Central Community College where she expanded her knowledge in technique and other styles of dance. While on the team, ICDT won multiple state championships and also performed on the finals stage at the NDA Nationals Competition in Daytona Beach, Florida.

After her two years at ICCC, she went on to finish her education at BVU, majoring in Business Marketing and was also a member of both the dance team and cheer team.

Outside of coaching, Tori works as a marketer for L&G Products in Storm Lake.  She resides in town with her husband, Austin, and their three children.
