About Ryan: Is the son of Jeff and Kris Duncan.
High School Highlights: Ryan was a three-time captain of his golf team and captain once on his baseball team. His junior year, Ryan received Second Team All-Conference honors in baseball and Honorable Mention in golf. As a senior, Ryan received First Team All-Conference, First Team All-District and Second Team All-State Utility honors while receiving First Team All-Conference honors for golf. Ryan lettered three times in baseball, four times in golf, and once in both basketball and track.
College Highlights:
2016: Was moved to the bullpen where he pitched 11 innings in 8 appearances. He collected his first career win against Williams College on March 25th. Finished the season at Simpson where he pitched 2 innings and struck out 4 batters.
2015: He played in 18 games and made 14 starts. He finished the year hitting .273 in 44 at-bats, including a double and two triples. He also drove in five runs while scoring eight times. His two triples tied for third on the team. He went a career-best 3-for-5 with a double, triple and three RBI in a win against Aurora on March 20.
2014: Made five starts in 13 of his appearances and hit .238 overall in 21 at-bats. He finished the year with two doubles, one triple and five RBI, while also scoring a career-high 12 runs. He turned in a season-best two hits in three at-bats during a win at Dubuque on April 19 when he recorded a double and scored a career-best three runs. He blasted his first career home run in a win against Gustavus Adolphus on March 24.
2013: As a freshman, played in 24 games and made 12 starts, while finishing the year hitting .128. In 39 at-bats, he had five hits, including one double and scored eight times. He made his collegiate debut at nationally-ranked Webster and went 1-for-4 with a run scored. His first career extra-base hit came during an 11-1 win against Coe on April 23.
