College Highlights:
2016: He was one of only 2 players to start all 44 games. He was 1st in the conference in slugging percentage (.835), on base percentage (.524), runs scored (39), doubles (18), total bases (86), and plate appearances (127), while being second in batting average (.417), hits (43), and RBI’s (30) during conference play. He would set the conference record for doubles with 18, and break BV’s record for doubles in a season with 25. He was named conference player of the year, 1st team all region, and is the first player in Buena Vista University baseball history to be named 1st team all American.
2015: Started all 41 games in centerfield and finished ninth on the team with a .289 average and ranking second in at-bats (160). He was third in doubles (9) and tied for the team lead in home runs (4). He drove in 25 runs and scored a team-best 36 times. Defensively, he commited only one error in 79 chances, while throwing out four base runners. He had 12 multi-hit games for the year, including a season-high four in the home finale against Luther on May 2. In that game he added his fourth home run of the year and also scored four times as BVU went on to win 14-3. He also had three hits, three RBI and three runs scored in the finale of a three-game series at Nebraska Wesleyan on March 15.
2014: Played in all 46 games and made 44 starts, while finishing the year ranked second on the team with a .376 average. He tied a school record with 70 base hits, ranked second in doubles (12), fifth in RBI (30) and second in runs scored (44). He finished the year with 27 multi-hit games with nine of those coming over the final 11 games of the year. During IIAC play, 10 of his 39 hits went for extra bases and he also scored 20 times en route to earning First Team All-IIAC and Second Team All-Region honors by both the ABCA and D3baseball.com. He was also named to the Academic All-IIAC Team and landed First Team Capital One Academic All-American honors.
2013: Played on the junior varsity team as a freshman.
