About James: Son of Mike and Christine...also has a brother Joey, and a sister Jessica.

High School Highlights: Tic Academic all state, River Cities conference honorable mention. Distinction Honor roll 4x, National Honor society.

College Highlights:
2019: James played at the junior varsity level

2020: Appeared in two games off the bench before the season was canceled after just seven games due to COVID-19 pandemic...picked up his first collegiate hit against Hamline in the season-opening three-game series.

2021: Played the majority of his games as a member of the junior varsity team...made six varsity appearances, including four starts...Had three hits in 18 at-bats...got the start against Westminster on Feb. 27 in his first outing of the year and went 1-for-3...went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored against Luther College on April 11.
