Conner Ellinghuysen

Conner Ellinghuysen, BVU's Director of Admissions and Head Archery Coach, brings extensive experience and a lifelong passion for archery, which began during his time as a 4-H participant. Since earning his Level 1 coaching license in 2014, he has continually advanced his skills, obtaining a Level 2 certification that enables him to certify new Level 1 coaches. In May 2022, he achieved the prestigious Level 3 4-H Coach designation, empowering him to train coaches nationwide.
 
In addition to his 4-H credentials, Ellinghuysen holds a Level 3 USA Archery Coach certification and a USA Archery Instructor Trainer certification. Since 2022, he has been dedicated to coaching collegiate archers, guiding them as they transition from high school to the collegiate level. His individualized approach focuses on skill development and fostering a love for the sport.
 
Ellinghuysen's coaching philosophy emphasizes an individualized approach, focusing on the holistic development of archers. He not only works with athletes to hone their physical skills on the range but also emphasizes the importance of mental resilience, drawing from years of experience and mental training concepts. His dedication ensures archers are prepared to excel in both the physical and psychological aspects of the sport on the range, but also off the range in their daily lives.
