About Dylan: Is the son of Tim Barrett and Amy Barrett...has two sisters, Brianna and Emily, as well as one brother, Brion.
High School Highlights: Lettered three years in football and was a two-time All-Conference, All-District and All-State selection, while being named the All-Area Player of the Year as a senior. He also starred on the State Championship team as a junior. In addition to football, he earned four letters in track and field. Aside from athletics, he was listed on the Honor Roll throughout his career.
College Highlights:
2014: Was the team''s top rusher on the year and also had one of the best single season rushing performances in program history. He finished the year with 234 carries and 1,242 yards. His total yards are second-most in single-season history while his rushing attempts were third-most. He turned in a career-high 264 yards and two touchdowns while carrying the ball 42 times at Luther. He followed that up with 220 more yards on 42 attempts at Dubuque. He posted at least 13 rushing attempts in nine of the 10 games and had at least 70 yards in nine of 10. Following the year, he was named a First Team All-IIAC performer.
2013: He played in eight games for the Beavers as a junior and led the team while setting new career highs in rushing attempts (174) and net rushing yards (714). Tied for the team with three rushing touchdowns on the year and had one of his best overall performances in his career in the season finale against Dubuque when he carried the ball 30 times for 184 yards and one touchdown as the Beavers rallied for the 29-28 victory.
2012: Played in all 10 games, seeing time at running back and as a return man, earning Second Team All-IIAC accolades as a specialist. He finished with a career-high 533 rushing yards, including a career-best 181 at Loras College, to go along with two touchdowns. He also returned 21 kick-offs for an average of 22.5 yards, including 119 yards on just four returns against Wartburg College.
2011: Appeared in all 10 games for the Beavers, finishing with a career-high nine carries in the season-opener against UW-Platteville before posting a career-high 36 rushing yards at Central College. Also against the Dutch, he returned a pair of kicks for 28 yards to finish with a career-high 64 all-purpose yards.
