About Tanner: His father, Tim, played collegiate football at Peru State.

College Highlights:
2013: Was a team captain during his final collegiate season.  He finished the year ranked fourth on the team with 61 total tackles and was tied for second with 5.5 tackles for a loss.  Following the year, he did get the honor of representing BVU during the Tazon de Estrellas Bowl.

2012: Played in all 10 games for the Beavers and finished 11th on the team with 36 total tackles.  He also had one interception and recovered a fumble.  He turned in a career-best 10 total stops against Bethel University.

2011: Registered five total tackles, including two against Luther College.

2010: Tanner saw playing time in five contests for the Beavers where he registered four tackles, two of which were solo.
