About Tyler: Is the son of Arnold and Diane...has one brother, Steven, who runs cross country and is a member of the track and field team at Buena Vista.
High School Highlights: He was a four-year varsity letterwinner for the Trojans while playing for Coach Seiser. He was a team captain his final two years, and as a senior, he was named the District Offensive Player of the Year. He was also an all-conference selection as both a junior and senior and went on to earn All-State recognition as well following his senior campaign.
In addition to football, he lettered four years in basketball, track and baseball. He was a team captain as well in basketball.
Aside from athletics, he was a member of the National Honor Society, served as Class President all four years, and was a Rotary Club member.
College Highlights:
2016: Tyler would be one of five BVU football players voted Academic All-Conference in 2016. In four games of action (3 starts) he had one catch for nine yards.
2015: He would play in 4 games this year at the varsity level recording 7 receiving yards.
2014: Tyler played primarily as a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman.
