About Kolten: Is the son of Kyle Bader and Deb Blake...has one brother, K.J., as well as two sisters, Kelsey and Carli.
High School Highlights: Played for former BVU coach Joe Hadachek where he lettered two years in football, including the 2012 season when he played on a state championship team. In addition to football, he earned two varsity letters in basketball.
Aside from athletics, he was listed on the Honor Roll, named Academic All-District in both football and basketball as a senior.
College Highlights:
2015: He appeared in 8 games this season as a receiver and kick returner. He would rank 5th in all purpose yards, first in punt return yards, and third in kick return yards. Against Simpson he would record 91 all purpose yards including 27 receiving and 65 kick return yards.
2014: Earned a varsity letter as a freshman while primarily seeing his action on special teams. He was one of the team''s top kick returners, finishing with 17 returns and an average of 16.5 yars per return. He also caught three passes for 22 yards. He caught his first career pass late in the year against Wartburg when he turned in two for 17 yards. He had a career-best five kick returns in the season finale at Coe when he registered five for a total of 70 yards. His best average was against Loras when he had two for 41 yards (20.5ypr).
