STORM LAKE, Iowa - Valorant and Smash teams off to a great start to the spring season. Valorant is 4-0 in NECC play while Smash Gold is 4-0 in MVEC and 1-1 in NECC play. Smash Navy is 2-0 in NECC while Smash Blue is 1-1 in ECAC play.
Valorant has had a solid turnaround opening NECC play with a 4-0 record in Division VII. The Beavers have beat Coe College, Montana Maroon, University of Arkansas and Wisconsin Eau-Claire.
Smash Gold improved to 4-0 in MVEC play with an exciting 2-1 (5-2, 2-4, 3-2) victory over Cornell College last night.
James Cheney led the way getting going 9-4 earning five points for the Beavers. In the last match
Alex Galati stepped up huge going 3-1 giving the Beavers the early 2-0 lead.
BVU Blue picked up a huge victory last night in ECAC competition.
Angel Larsen opened the game taking 10 of the 12 stocks leading the Beavers to a 12-8 victory. She ended with 21 stocks taken on the night.
