Merced Ramirez dished out 15 and 13 assists. As a team, the Beavers finished with a .202 attack percentage and scored 55 points.
BVU jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead in the first set and never looked back. The team led by as many as 17-8 late in the set before cruising to the nine point victory. Wartburg held a slim 11-10 lead in the second before a kill from senior
Hope Vanderlinden sparked a big 5-0 spurt that pu the Beavers in front for good at 15-11. The Knights stayed within striking distance at 19-17, but the Beavers scored six of the final eight points to take the set.
The Beavers fell behind 10-4 at the start of the third set before finding their groove and going on an 8-2 run, including a pair of ace serves from Ramirez that made it 12-12. The Knights took a slim 13-12 lead before BVU went up for good after scoring three straight.
With the win, BVU snaps a three-match losing streak against Wartburg and picked up its first victory inside of Levick Arena since a 3-1 triumph in 2022.
