ASBURY, Iowa (Sept. 15, 2025) - The Buena Vista men's golf team took part in the Loras College Duhawk Invite on Sunday and Monday, and led by Gabe Kramer's fifth place overall finish, the Beavers tied for second in the team race after a 36-hole score of 610.

Kramer turned in a pair of 74's to help lead the way as all four scoring individuals each day all carded rounds in the 70's. Kaleb Sander made four birdies during his final round en route to a 79 and a 13th place finish.

BVU started strong on Sunday with an opening round of 302 and was in sole possession of second place while trailing only St. Ambrose at 298. Clarke College rallies in the second round and pulls even with the Beavers. The two teams finished six strokes behind St. Ambrose and two clear of Simpson College. BVU was the top A-R-C finisher in the field among five teams that took part.

Buena Vista gets right back out on the course this weekend as it hosts the annual BVU Fall Invite on Sept. 20-21 at the BVU Golf Course at Lake Creek.
