INDIANOLA, Iowa (May 9, 2025) - The Buena Vista University men's outdoor track & field team began the 2025 A-R-C Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon and was highlighted by fifth-year Kyle Miller advancing into the finals of the 800-meter run on Saturday.

Miller won the second heat with a time of 1:50.20 and has the fastest overall qualifying time. He's currently ranked #10 in DIII this season. Saturday's finals is set for 3:15 p.m.

Sophomore Nick Walch missed out on the finals of the 400-meter hurdles but did run a personal best time of 56.52 and only missed out on the finals by 1.2 seconds.

The final day of events officially gets going at 10 a.m. with the remaining field events while the first running event is slated to take the track at 1:30 p.m.
