The Eagles continued their hit barrage in game two, pounding out 13 more, with most of the damage coming from the bottom half of their lineup.
They came out and got a solo home run in the first and led 1-0 before adding three more runs in the second. After pushing another run across in the third to make it a 5-0 cushion, the Eagles orchestrated a two-out, bases empty rally with a double and three straight RBI singles to win in walk-off fashion.
Freshman Jordan Fabirkiewicz singled in the second inning for BVU's lone hit of the contest.
Karli Irlmeier made her fourth start of the year inside the circle for the Beavers and scattered 12 hits and was responsible for all eight runs while walking one and striking out one. Freshman Bradi Krager came in to pitch to the final batter.
Buena Vista drops to 1-9 on the year and will close out the spring trip with a doubleheader on Friday against Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga. First pitch of game one is at 1 p.m. (CT).
