STORM LAKE, Iowa (Mar. 27, 2025) - The Buena Vista men's tennis team began its American Rivers Conference schedule on Wednesday afternoon at Wartburg College but would suffer a 7-0 setback to the Knights.

The No. 3 doubles team of Ryan Webb and Tyler Harger were edged 6-4 in a tight match as Wartburg went on to earn the doubles point after also rolling to 6-1 and 6-0 victories at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.

In singles play, BVU fell in straight sets in each of the six matches as the Knights (10-12, 1-0 A-R-C) allowed more than two points in only two total sets.

Buena Vista drops back to .500 on the year at 5-5 and is now 0-1 in conference play. The team looks to bounce back on Wednesday, Apr. 2, when it hosts Nebraska Wesleyan University on the Buntrock Tennis Courts.
