WAVERLY, Iowa (Feb. 7, 2025) - The Buena Vista University indoor track & field team was right back in action at the Friday Knight Lights Meet hosted by Wartburg College.
Senior
Kyle Miller highlighted the night for the team by winning the 1000m run in a time of 2:30.15. He won the five-person race by three seconds. His time also set a new meet record by three seconds that was set just over a year ago.
Fellow senior
Kaden Sadler took runner-up in the 3,000-meter run in a season best time of 8:56.27 and was just three seconds off the winning mark. Sophomore
Devon Schultz matched his season-best mark of 4.55m in the pole vault and came in second. His mark is currently ranked #47 in NCAA DIII.
Junior
Easton Hays (6.36m) placed seventh overall in the long jump but was one of seven individuals that broke the meet record of 6.29m set last season.
Buena Vista continues its schedule next weekend (Feb. 14-15) at the South Dakota State Indoor Classic.
