STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Buena Vista University Rocket League Gold teams continues to play well in NECC competition coming away with a 3-1 victory over Kansas State University on Monday evening. The Beavers are 3-0 while Kansas State is 1-2.
The Beavers came out playing well opening up a 2-0 lead winning game on 3-2 and game two 4-1. In game one
Ryan Webb led the way with a score of 567 with one goal, two assists, four saves and three shots.
Skyler Keller had two goals with a score of 410. Game two the Beavers dominated scoring the final three goals winning by three. Keller had a score of 676 with two goals, two assists, four saves and three shots. Webb had a 448 score with two goals, one assists and four shots.
BVU had a set back in game three falling 2-1 before coming back with a 4-2 win in game four. In game three Kansas State came away with a 2-1 victory. They held the Beavers to just six shots. Webb has the only goal for BVU. Webb and Keller led the way again with two goals apiece.
The Beavers will take on Central Methodist on Wednesday, February 26 at 5 pm and will wrap up the week on Thursday, February 27 at 8 pm against Missouri S&T.
