Bickford, who was an all-conference selection for BVU following his sophomore campaign, transitioned up the field and into a forward position for the majority of his final collegiate season this year. He registered one goal during conference play this fall, and that came at Wartburg College during the American Rivers Conference opener. In addition to those two points, he also added a total of three assists overall this season and ended the year with five points overall.
Jaroch, meanwhile, is earning recognition for the first time in her young career. She came up big for the Beavers in defending the goal all season long, starting all 18 matches she played in, and during A-R-C play alone, was tops in the league at 12.75 saves per match and totaled 102 over those eight contests. During a 3-1 win over Coe College, Jaroch chalked up 10 saves, and followed that up three days later with a career-high 18 stops during a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat by Luther College.
The Buena Vista women finished with an overall record this season of 4-12-2 while the Buena Vista men closed the year at 5-11-1.
