STORM LAKE, Iowa (Nov. 14, 2025) - The American Rivers Conference announced its 2025 Fall Academic All-Conference list on Friday afternoon, and Buena Vista was represented with 34 student-athletes. A total of 686 student-athletes league wide were named to this year's team.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be listed on the eligibility report for the nominated sport, be at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least one year on campus, and maintain a cumulative overall GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Among this year's list for the Beavers, the football team led the way with nine student-athletes with women's soccer next at seven. Volleyball was close behind with six while both men's soccer and women's golf had five. Women's tennis landed the final two.
Wartburg College had a league-high 147 student-athletes on the team with Central College the next closest at 81.
