The team came out strong from the start. In Women’s Barebow, freshman Keilana Lieb captured the Silver Medal in her BVU debut. In Men’s Barebow, freshman Daniel Najera-Torres earned Bronze, marking an impressive start to his collegiate career.

The Fixed Pin divisions were especially dominant for BVU. In the Women’s division, freshman Mariah Hadley took Silver, while junior Gracy Elsenbast secured Gold. The momentum continued in Women’s Compound, where BVU swept the podium. Senior Rosa Perrotti earned Bronze, senior Madison Overby took Silver, and freshman Liz Welsh, competing in her first collegiate tournament, claimed Gold.

BVU’s success in individual events carried over into the Mixed Team competitions. In Mixed Barebow, freshmen Keilana Lieb and Lily Eggman earned Bronze. The highlight of the day came in the Mixed Team Fixed Pin Gold Medal Match, featuring sophomore Ethan Stemper and junior Gracy Elsenbast. After falling behind by four points in the first round, the pair remained composed and trusted their process. By the third round, they had closed the gap, and in the final two arrows, Elsenbast secured the victory for BVU, earning the team Gold.

Their consistent effort, teamwork, and poise throughout the tournament led BVU Archery to claim the Overall Team Championship at the 2025 Viktor’s Arrow Clash.

What stood out most wasn’t just the number of medals, but how our archers competed. They trusted each other, stayed focused, remained resilient, and showed what it means to be part of this program. It was a performance full of heart and belief a perfect way to start our season.
