MENOMONIE, Wis. (Oct. 1, 2025) - The Buena Vista women's soccer team traveled to the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Wednesday afternoon for a non-conference match against the Blue Devils, but the Beavers would be handed a tough 4-0 loss.
UW-Stout was on the attack from the opening kick and would get on the board less than six minutes into play. The Blue Devils put up 12 total shots in the half and led 1-0 at the break. UW-Stout, which added 18 more shots over the final 45 minutes of play, doubled the score 10 minutes into the second half and added two more goals over the final 25 minutes.
The Blue Devils (6-4-1) had 30 shots in the contest while holding the Beavers without a single attempt.
Maia Jaroch made the start in-goal for Buena Vista and posted six saves in the first half.
Macy Palmer took over at the start of the second half and also notched six saves.
The Beavers are now 3-6-1 overall and travel to No. 19 Loras College (7-0-1, 1-0 A-R-C) on Saturday, Oct. 4 with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
